My adventures in blogging started with the sounds of a cascading waterfall of hot chocolate. Never a dull moment around here. While I sought a few precious moments of early morning Mommy-time, Little Wiggles decided to explore the remnants of dinner and test the laws of physics. Yes, hot (now cold) chocolate pours quite nicely over the kitchen chairs.
Why did I decide to start blogging? I'm trying to find myself and some semblance sanity in this place I call my life. I've always enjoyed writing, so maybe this will help. I also have this egotistical desire that maybe my life will mean something to someone. That what I write will help my kids to understand their Mom -- if not today, then when they have children of their own.
As with most moms these days, my list of identities is long indeed. I'm a mother of two, wife to an engineering manager, work part-time, go to school part-time -- the exact purpose of which I'm not entirely sure. I'd also like to call myself a Flybaby, but if you saw my kitchen this morning, you'd probably wonder. I'd also like to think of myself as a scrapbooker, but with all the adventures of life, I can't tell you when I actually last finished a page of my own.
Time always being a precious commodity around here, I feel the clock ticking, so I'm off to my morning routine -- planning my day in my head and praying for peace, clarity and presence of mind.
